What does this new site offer me as an HCEA member?
The new site enables HCEA members to do a number of things that we’ve never before offered on line:
• You can use your profile to check your membership status, next renewal date, and history of payments;
• You can renew your membership online;
• Instead of having to call the office or risk missing your magazine, you can update your profile if your mailing address, phone number and e-mail address have changed;
• You can choose to have your membership automatically renewed on a credit card;
• You will receive automatic e-mail reminders to renew;
• You can make direct donations to the HCEA;
• You can change any of these options at your discretion; and,
• You will receive, on rare occasion, e-mails from us with important news and merchandise sale information. (We promise not to abuse your e-mail, or to divulge it to others.)
The membership functions have been transferred to this site from our online store.
All of these membership benefits are accessed from your Member Profile. To access your Profile, simply click on [View Profile] in the log-in box at the bottom of the menu at left.
As you will see, we now offer an expanded set of forums. Also, for the first time in years, we also have an extensive collection of links and a photo gallery.
Does registering to use the site make me an HCEA member?
No. HCEA membership requires payment of our annual dues; you can join the HCEA through the Join us pages. Registering to use the site only enables you to use the forums and other features.
Let’s work down the menu and see what else is in the new site.
The home page is pretty self-explanatory, with introductory information and summaries of news stories. Expanded news coverage will appear on our NEWS page.

In an earlier incarnation, our website had over 600 links to sites covering a tremendous array of equipment-related subjects. We’re proud to announce that the links are back, and this time you can browse either by subject or website name.
