    Greetings from Waverly, IA, birthplace and only home of the Schield Bantam Company.  I am a freelance writer doing a history of the company founded in 1942 by the the two Schield brothers: Vern and Wilbur.  Schield Bantam carved a niche in the small, mobile crane market and within 15 years of its founding was the largest company in the world serving that market.  I am interested in any magazine articles, photos, personal experiences and general information regarding the company, its founders, equipment, reputation, etc. of which you have possession or are aware.  Please email me at tomjbaker1@aol.com or call 319-939-1834 (even if it's just to chat).  Thanks for your help.  Tom
