1977 Bucyrus Erie 20H Track hoe HELP!!

    Hello all, I have a couple of questions that I hope someone can answer. My father is having issues with his Erie and has asked me to help him out. I was directed here. His questions:

    What would cause the right track to not propel in either direction? Ever since he's owned it it has jerked a bit on that side.

    Also, in the right angle drive or torque hub, can those gears easily be broken? How difficult to fix?
