Visiting the Museum

PLEASE NOTE: THE MUSEUM IS CLOSED TO TOURS UNTIL LATE SEPTEMBER DUE TO OUR CONVENTION, AS ALL EQUIPMENT HAS BEEN MOVED OUTSIDE. THE GROUNDS ARE OPEN AT NO CHARGE DURING THE HOURS BELOW, BUT GUIDED TOURS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AND VISITORS MUST AVOID WORKING AREAS. THE SHOP IS CLOSED TO VISITORS.

The Museum is normally open to the public between 1:00 and 5:00 PM weekdays. Due to staffing considerations, we recommend that you e-mail us at tberry@hcea.net

or call us at 419-352-5616 to let us know you’re coming.

Many of our restored machines are normally stored inside the Museum building, and a tour of the building takes about 45 minutes. You are free to explore the outdoor exhibits on your own. You can take as many photographs as you want; we just ask that you don’t climb on the equipment. The Museum building is insulated but does not have climate control, so dress appropriately in event of temperature extremes.

Admission rates are:

  • HCEA Members: Free admission
  • Non-members, $7.00 includes a tour of the building.
  • Outside viewing only: Free admission
  • 12 or under: Free admission.

Group rates are available for groups of 10 or more, provided the group has booked its visit in advance.

Donations in addition to admission fees are greatly appreciated. All proceeds go to our Building Fund.
